why courteney cox leaves skin health to the pros
Courteney surprises 200+ students at our Future Industry Professionals Day to learn what it takes to be a skin expert
Courteney Cox is taking on a new role: skin care student.
Courteney crashed our Future Industry Professionals Day on April 26th to get skin care advice straight from the experts. She surprised 200+ students from colleges across Southern California; these future industry professionals are enrolled in esthetic programs in pursuit of their professional license.
Eager to learn, she ran into class to join a live, hands-on demo, where Dermalogica Pros guided her on how to give a professional skin treatment. Dermalogica educators showed Courteney how to elevate her exfoliation routine with the pro “mixing my mic” technique, the first of many pro tips to come.
But Courteney wasn’t just there to get skin tips. She’s partnered with Dermalogica to highlight the original skinfluencers – professional skin therapists. Dermalogica trains 100,000 skin professionals each year to elevate their expertise and support their career in the professional skincare industry. Our industry is one of the biggest drivers of entrepreneurship for women unlocking more business ownership than the private sector. It’s also one of the most inclusive industries for marginalized communities and those with learning differences.
Courteney was introduced to Dermalogica while filming Friends as it was used in Monica and Rachel’s bathroom! A brand fan for years, she frequently uses Daily Microfoliant & Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF 50. We’re excited to partner with Courteney Cox to amplify the importance of professional expertise and be a positive force for our industry.
